Dear nightlyone12,sometimes it is possible to refill saline implants without taking them out. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Yes, it is ethical, but not always the best. If the implants were carefully kept sterile, then they can be adjusted in size and reinserted. This of course, saves money. If you had thick capsules, it is best to get new implants to minimize infection. Your implants would not be used on another patient.
You did not post any photos, so I recommend going back to your surgeon and discussing your concerns.
Although your one photo is limited, your implants are probably now too large for your tissue. You may need to go down in size, have the lateral pockets tightened, and perhaps have a lift. Some fat could be transferred to help fill in the gap, but fat alone will not completely fix the problem....
Your lateral pockets can be tightened so that the implants do not fall so much to the sides. However, you do have a natural gap between your breasts which you will keep. The bases of your breasts cannot be moved. I think the moderate plus profile would do well for you.
