Hi, Is this facial sagging/hollowing typically expected for early 40s or would this be considered accelerated aging for 41? Looking for treatment recommendations?

Answer: Facelift Thank you for your inquiry! Looking at your photos, you would be a great candidate for a lower facelift with fat transfer to the face to rejuvenate and turn back the clock. We would love to sit down with you and explore options to help you reach your goals. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon like myself so we can create a surgical plan for you!

Answer: Lower face and jaw line aging Your photos show normal aging in the lower face. You have some volume loss and laxity of the soft tissues. This leads to a deflated appearance with redundancy along lower cheek and jaw line. Your options would be to treat the volume loss with fillers or fat transfer and the laxity with surgery or minimally invasive energy modalities. The minimally invasive treatments are going to be somewhat variable in their effectiveness and won't be long lasting (but some people are OK with that). Surgery would entail some variation of a facelift.
