Without a photo taken from below looking up at your nostrils (what we call a “worm’s eye” view), it’s difficult to know precisely what you’re referring to, but I am willing to venture a guess. If you’re describing the anatomical area between your nostrils, you are perhaps referring to your columella. Or, if you are speaking about the tip itself, you’re referencing your lower-lateral cartilages. There are surgical fixes for both, and I’ve performed each many times in my own practice. Most importantly, though, it sounds like you and your prior surgeon are not seeing eye to eye. For this reason, it might be wise to seek a second opinion. Ask for your operative report and bring it, along with your before-and-after photos, to this second-opinion appointment. Also, it is crucial that find a surgeon with decades of experience with revision-rhinoplasty surgery. Revision surgery is much more complex than primary surgery, and requires a more advanced skill set.
