Firm breast after downsize, should a partial capsulectomy have been done? (Photos)

I had 580 extra high profile utm for 18 months and developed capsular contracture on the right side. I got my revision downsize to 520 moderate and capsulectomy of the diseased right side. Since the beginning I was worried my left side was developing capsular contracture but the capsule itself is very good quality. It seems as if there is a wall between my breast tissue and the implant that is making it firm and aches when squeezed hard enough. I never had this problem before as this was my good side! I believe this is because I downsized (580 13.50 6.4) to (520 14.50 4.8), and the excess capsule was left in? Was this a bad move on my surgeon to not remove some capsule? Would you have left in a perfectly healthy capsule in drastic downsizes?
