Left drain hole, leaking fluid (Photo)

Question

Dear all I had surgery on June 1st and my drains were removed after 3 days. The right hole is closed and dry & pain free.. The left one just sucks. I went to the Dr 2 days ago to have it checked. They said i should keep it clean, change bandaids and that it ll get better within a few days. It got worse... Shall I go re-check or just wait? I put the bainaid on 2hrs ago and went for a quick walk (20'), at home i noticed something wet and checked, you can see the pics attached..

Dear Vannellywhen a TT is performed with significant liposuction, the amount of drainage is more and  drain site can leak for a longer period.  From the limited pics you have shared, you don't have an infection or a seroma. Continue bandaid and compression garment and you should do well. If any significant changes, contact your surgeon. Congratulations on having had your surgery!!

from your drain site should be addressed with your surgeon.  Direct pressure can help stop any skin edge bleeding but if you continue to leak, you should see your surgeon for further recommendations.  Drains sites normally seal up within a day or two so your problem is no longer considered 'normal'.
