Been considering abdominal etching or liposcuplture of some sort to really make my abs POP. What worries me is the following: 1: Do they feel real? Because I know the idea is to shape the fat around the natural muscles, but still...they're fake fat pads that look like abs right? I imagine they feel pretty soft and not hard at all. 2: If you gain weight back (say 10-20 pound) does that fat grow out all gross? If so...then let's say you lose the 20 pounds again; are you back to normal?
Answer: Abdominal etching is for looks only. Abdominal etching is just as you suspect. The fat tubes feel just like fat and can distort with weight gain and loss. Liposculpture is really what you want but be sure to get it done under local tumescent with the micro cannulas for best results so your doc can stand you up and turn you etc... to fine tune everything nicely during the procedure. Sincerely, David Hansen,MD

Answer: Abdominal Etching The results of abdominal etching, when performed successfully, can create the appearance of more defined and sculpted abdominal muscles. However, it's important to note that the enhanced definition is achieved through the selective removal of fat to reveal the natural contours of the underlying muscles. The feel of the abdomen after abdominal etching is influenced by several factors: Fat Removal: Subcutaneous Fat: Abdominal etching targets the subcutaneous fat layer, which is the fat located just beneath the skin. Muscle Definition: The procedure aims to highlight the natural borders of the abdominal muscles (such as the rectus abdominis), creating the appearance of a more sculpted and toned midsection. Muscle Tone: Underlying Muscle Tone: The feel of the abdomen is also influenced by the tone and development of the underlying muscles. Exercise Impact: Individuals who engage in regular abdominal exercises and maintain good muscle tone may have a firmer feel to the abdomen. Skin Quality: Elasticity: The quality and elasticity of the skin play a role in how the abdomen feels after abdominal etching. Surgical Techniques: Surgeons may use techniques to address excess skin laxity during the procedure, contributing to a smoother and more natural feel. Post-Operative Swelling: Temporary Swelling: In the immediate post-operative period, there may be some swelling, which can temporarily affect the feel of the treated area. Resolution: As swelling subsides during the recovery process, the natural feel of the abdomen may become more apparent. Patient's Perception: Expectations: Patient satisfaction with the feel of the abdomen after abdominal etching is influenced by individual expectations and goals. Realistic Expectations: While abdominal etching can enhance muscle definition and provide a sculpted appearance, it's important for individuals to have realistic expectations about the achieved results. It's crucial to choose a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon to perform abdominal etching to ensure that the procedure is tailored to your individual anatomy and aesthetic goals. During a consultation, the surgeon can provide information about what can be realistically achieved and discuss the expected outcomes, including the look and feel of the treated area. Remember that the feel of the abdomen after abdominal etching is influenced by multiple factors, and individual experiences may vary. Always follow your surgeon's post-operative care instructions for optimal healing and results.

Answer: Vaser hi def lipo 4d I appreciate your question. Vaser assisted liposuction utilizes ultrasound to emulsify or melt felt prior to removal. It is also used to etch or define the muscles and normal anatomy to enhance the results. I use a specialized technique to remove the deeper fat areas and sculpt the superficial fat, so that one can achieve the goal of having not only a flatter stomach but also a more defined and curvaceous body if wanted. I can use this technique on the arms as well. I also use the fat removed to graft into the pecs for men or breasts for women as well as into the arms and other areas to further enhance muscle definition. The best candidates for the procedure already have a good muscular base. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery and high definition body contouring. Best of luck!
