Hi gonzalez5,Thank you for your question and I can certainly understand your concern during the recovery period.  Most fluid collections after liposuction resolve on their own, but you should see your plastic surgeon frequently to make sure the fluid doesn't require drainage.  Without pictures, I'm assuming that this the sacral fossa area.  During BBLs, this area is contoured and may take a while for the swelling to come down.  A sacral pad can be added to place additional compression to this area.  I would recommend seeing your plastic surgeon to make sure things are progressing as expected.Hope that helps.Best,Dr. B

It sounds like you have formed a seroma.
If that's the case in needs to be drained.
Seromas that are not drained can become chronic in which case they will not respond to drainage in the future.
You should go back to your plastic surgeon sooner rather than later and have him or her evaluate you.
