My eyes have been like this since I was 5 or 6. I woke up with a really swollen eyelid. It got better but it never went back to normal. My parents didn't get it checked out. One eyelid is different than the other. And the skin above the eyelid is different also. The skin above my normal eye bugles more than the other so that my eyelashes touch them. The other eyelashes do not touch the skin above the abnormal eye. Can one eye be bulging out more the other to cause this difference? I'm not sure.

At this point most of the inflammation from a surgical excision should be gone. I would have someone try an injection of steroid which should help eliminate any residual inflammation.
