Tummy tuck revision or scar revision to fix tummy tuck results four year post op? (Photos)

Question

Hello, Im unhappy with the way my tummy tuck healed over the last four years. I don’t want to do several procedures to fix it. I want to know if I should do a tummy tuck revision or scar revision to fix the two indented places on my abdomen (mid stomach and below the scar)the shelving effect and the little bubble in the middle, and shape and size of my scar. I really regret this surgery.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

First of all, your scar is too high.  That should really be brought down to a lower position.

To fix this, I would excise your current scar, reposition it at a lower position on your abdominal wall, and then try and plicate the bulging area so that it flattens out.

Your Plastic Surgeon should be able to do this.  But if they are not able to, then I would recommmend getting a 2nd opinion to get someone who can.

Revision surgery by means of scar excision, liposuction and revision of belly button would be my recommendation. In person evaluation and consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Good luck.

In order for us to make a good ass assessment, we need to see quality before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then your provider and ask them to forward the pictures they took.
Did you have a full tummy tuck or a mini tummy tuck? It looks to me like you had Liposuction in conjunction with the tummy tuck that wasn’t done correctly leaving you within uneven fat distribution.
 situation is complex and I highly recommend you rely exclusively on in person to consultations for an assessment for revision surgery.
