Before five years I had a tummy tuck which left me with a terrible , red uneven and really high scar and with bad contour of the belly . My sides are uneven with more fat and skin on one side . How this mess can get better ?

At five years post-op, your scar and contour are mature, so further improvement usually requires a revision plan rather than waiting for more natural change. A high, red, uneven scar and asymmetric side fullness can often be improved, but the exact approach depends on how much loose skin is available.
If the scar is too high, lowering it may be possible only if there is enough lower abdominal skin mobility. Sometimes a revision tummy tuck or conversion to a fuller tummy tuck is needed to remove the old scar, tighten the skin more evenly, and improve the lower abdominal contour.
For the uneven sides, the problem may be extra skin, localized fat, scar tethering, or a dog-ear at the end of the incision. This can often be treated with scar revision, selective liposuction, small skin excision, or a combination.
Scar treatments such as laser, microneedling, steroid injections, silicone gel, or medical tattooing may help color and texture, but they will not correct a high scar position or major contour irregularity.
My advice would be to see a plastic surgeon experienced in tummy tuck revisions. Ask whether the old scar can be lowered or removed, whether one side needs liposuction or skin excision, and whether a full revision would give a better contour than a small scar revision alone.
