Is it possible to turn a Caucasian hooded eyelids into monolids or double eyelid? (Photo)

I have extremely hooded eyelids and I was wondering if it's actually possible to have surgery to have them turned into double eyelids or monolids. It's just a question, I haven't decided if I want surgery yet or if there were other options.

but the real question is should anything be done in someone that is still young?  Once you start with procedures, they will often have to be redone down the road and they do have risks and scaring that come with it.  Yes, you could probably find a surgeon encouraging you to proceed but most of us would tell you to be patient and to consider these procedures when older... at least in your 30's.  So unless you have something really problematic (don't see that in your photos) where a procedure predictably will give you what you want 100% of the time, wait a little longer when procedures can truly produce beneficial outcomes.
