I have extremely hooded eyelids and I was wondering if it's actually possible to have surgery to have them turned into double eyelids or monolids. It's just a question, I haven't decided if I want surgery yet or if there were other options.

You are still in the healing process and what you are seeing are not your results yet. It usually takes a few months to fully heal and a break in the incision is not common. Always keep the area clean and dry to prevent infection. Everything should heal well if proper care is maintained.
