I had my upper eyelids one 2 days ago. Does this swelling look normal. I also feel pressure in that eye. Called my doc but person answering phone just said swelling is normal.

Answer: Bruising/swelling after upper blepharoplasty... Hi Parkhaha,Sorry to hear of your frustrations. However, bruising and swelling is normal after the procedure, and everyone bruises/swells to different degrees. From the photos you posted, I'm not seeing anything unusual, though your bruising may be more than average. That being said, if you are experiencing worsening pressure in the eye, blurry vision, or double vision, you would need urgent follow up with your surgeon. If you are unable to see your surgeon, you may need to go to the emergency room.Best wishes on your healing,Dr. Jay
