Are you able to drive yourself home after love handle lipo?

I often see doctors tell patients they need a ride home after 360 lipo is lipo for ONLY the love handles under awake local anesthetic are you allowed to drive yourself home since it's only a small area? I'd like to keep the procedure confidential and don't feel comfortable with anybody knowing about it
