I recently had my first treatment for syringomas with CO2RE (syneron), initially I thought it looked flatter but over the next 3 days I realized the syringomas all looked about the same. Does the size shrink overtime? Based on images how many treatments will I need? What settings should I ask the dermatologist to use? I am suspicious she isn’t using a strong enough setting but I’d rather have hyperpigmentation than the bumps!

Answer: Treatment of syringomas with fractional laser
CO2 Fractional is the gold standard for skin rejuvenation both on face and body, including Intima Vaginal Rejuvenation. One of the great features of CO2 laser by Syneron-Candela, or CO2RE, is the ability to customize the treatments depending on patient's skin condition, their goals and the area...
Skin prep is very important before and after co2 laser. Start with Melarase PM and Melarase AM, followed by extra Vitamin C to promote collagen production. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
It depends and varies from provider to provider. I do not go over 80mj for face, while neck would require less mj since skin is sensitive. Make sure to choose experienced and board certified provider to obtain best results and minimize side effects. Good luck!
