With CO2RE what depth in mm for the face? Is it appropriate for the neck and decollete and how many mm there?
Answer: CO2 facial resurfacing Each CO2 laser is different in terms of penetration and recovery; My first pass for full face laser resurfacing is 120mj; I use intravenous sedation so that there is no discomfort during the procedure and then I perform a second pass over troublesome areas like vertical lip lines. Other than a deep chemical peel which can take weeks tor cover from, a fractional CO2 laser can give you amazing results with a recovery of about one week! The neck can be treated as well but the decollete has less pilosebaceous units and this are need to be treated with caution.

Answer: For best results with Co2-- add lasers, radiofrequency, microneedling/prp, fillers, ultherapy This will be variable and needs an in-person evaluation. Co2 can be used for the face, neck and decollete area, but usually a combination approach is needed to get the best results. I often combine Co2 to these areas with microneedling/prp, fillers, ultherapy and thermage. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: I do not go over 80mj for face, while neck would require less mj since skin is sensitive. It depends and varies from provider to provider. Answer: Working with mj and with density for CO2 It really depends, for the face the maximum treatment is 80mj if one is talking about fractional laser. The maximum density is 5%, this can safely be achieved on the neck as well as the density is low. Most specialist perform multiple overlaps. Newer CO2 lasers have higher densities, so overlaps can be decreased. Balance this with your expectations and skin type for the best outcomes. Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
