I recommend seeing an expert rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination. There are several options for you that can be determined after examination. A rhinoplasty in my opinion is one of the most difficult procedures to perform. The skill, artistry, and technique of the surgeon is more important than the age. In my practice, I utilize piezosurgery. Piezosurgery is a more gentle technique that allows for greater precision. Less bruising and swelling is common with Piezosurgery. In a typical rhinoplasty, a hammer and chisel technique is performed leading to more inadvertent fractures. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

I would recommend starting with a consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon that specializes in rhinoplasty surgery to discuss if rhinoplasty can address your concerns.
I would recommend writing down the following questions before scheduling your consultation:
1. Are you unhappy with the tip of your nose?
2. Do you feel that your nose is too wide?
3. Do you want to make your nostrils smaller in appearance?
4. Are you looking to decrease the general size of your nose?

Hi,The nasal bone shape looks good. To correct your complaints, tipplasty and alar base surgery may be sufficient. Of course, photos taken with a cell phone camera can be misleading. It is the most appropriate way to evaluate with clinical examination and photographing (by a regular camera) and decide what can be done in the surgery.Best regards

You may need subtle improvement improvement in the tip and base of the nose, based on these photos. Only on the basis of in person consultation with an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon, expert in rhinoplasty, it would be possible to discuss your goals and options. Good luck.

Alarplasty:
Alarplasty is a very fine and quick procedure that can narrow the nostrils and reduce the flare to soften the appearance. It has other names as well like ‘Weir Excisions’ or ‘Nostril Reduction’. it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you might be a candidate for rhinoplasty.
