I recommend concentrating on the nose only. Those other add ons are simply not worth it. Lips and chins are the kinds of things that sound simple but have their share of problems. Not worth even bothering with
The bridge of your nose has what is called a dorsal hump. I would suggest making the bridge of your nose straight. This hump can be a combination of bone and cartilage. Computer imaging can give you an idea of what this would look like. Your plastic surgeon will discuss the procedure with you along with any risk and complications.
Thank you for your pictures and post, although a full facial examination from all angles would be necessary to give you a complete answer. That said, just based on the limited photos provided, it appears that a rhinoplasty would make the greatest difference for your side profile. The bump on your nose could be filed (I prefer to file bones rather than break them) and your tip could be subtly lifted and reshaped to make it more feminine. Your lips appear full and attractive from the side. I could not make an assessment of your chin from the photos. An in-person examination might reveal that you could benefit from a small chin implant. In my practice as a board certified plastic surgeon, the coupling of rhinoplasty and chin implant is one of my most common combination surgeries. I recommend consulting in person with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns and goals.
I would recommend to reduce your hump, lift your tip and make refinements to your nose. I don't believe you need a chin augmentation.
Dear gemmie1166,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from rhinoplasty and possibly chin augmentation. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
The photographs are rather limited, but it does appear that you have a recessive Chin profile. Consider placement of a chin implant to augment your chin forward for better facial balance and proportions, especially with respect to your nose from the side profile. Both a chin implant and a rhinoplasty can be performed simultaneously under one anesthesia with one recovery period.
No one ever "needs" a rhinoplasty. It is an elective procedure and only you can determine if your nasal features concern you enough to do something about improving the cosmetic appearance of your nose with a natural appearing artistically performed rhinoplasty and whether it would be worthwhile. Nasal cosmetic surgery and a chin implant are frequently performed together in the appropriate patient. The ideal aesthetic result should be individualized to achieve harmony with your other facial features and improve the areas that concern you. Following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do and technically how to do it based on limited photos without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon with extensive nasal surgery experience who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Additional information about the procedure will help you decide if it is a procedure that you want to pursue. Hello and thanks for your questions. Rhinoplasty operation can shorten your nose and the breathing problem can be fixed together with the other concerns too. Since you broke your nose two times and have the breathing problems, The doctor should see you in person to decide what kind of procedure...
Based on these photos you seem to be very good candidate for rhinoplasty. I do not believe that thickness of your skin will significantly influence the result. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, expert in rhinoplasty, is recommended. Good luck.
A silicone nasal implant may not be the easiest foreign body for a radiologist to find since silicone does not image well with X-ray. X-ray shows metallic and calcified foreign bodies clearly, but silicone not so easily. MRI might be the best imaging to see silicone, but in most cases, a...
