Is it normal to only feel filler around the outline of my top lip? (Photo)

I got lip fillers Juvederm Ultra Plus XC for the 1st time yesterday, only 1/2ml. I’m noticing today that around the outline of my top lip if I feel around I can feel the outline and edge of where the filler is. Is this normal? Will it soften and feel more like my lips in a couple weeks?is the stiffness due to swelling? I’m a light sweller, slightly bruised but nothing extreme. My boyfriend is visiting in 2 weeks, and I’m worried he’ll be able to feel my fillers when he kisses me. Please help!

Hi @Veen Bole! I am sorry you are not happy with the results of your lip filler. Hyaluronic acid facial filler products can be dissolved by hyaluronidase injections.

Tingling immediately following lip injections is very common, but tingling for months afterward is not. I suggest scheduling a follow-up appointment with the doctor that performed the initial procedure for a full assessment. Good luck to you!
