Can a chemical peel speed up the acne purging process?

I am using Finacea and have had a bad purging experince from Retinol so I am scared...

Most lite peels such as jessners or 10%TCA do great to improve acne breakouts and get rid of the discolorations that acne leave. Often 3-6 peels are needed and done 2 weeks apart

I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to determine if peels are right for you. Peels should only be applied by a professional.
