Question

I thought I had a clogged blackhead because it was so deep and dark, but it was located at the tip of my nose. It was hard to extract since I had tiplasty where they use ear cartilage to build my tip. It stayed for the whole month and it bugged me at lot because it was a the center of my nose which was very noticeable. I ended up trying to extract it and found out it was actually NOT a clogged blackhead. Instead a white plastic-like thread/stitch/suture came out. I am freaking out please help

Stitch coming out of your nose: some surgeons while performing the tip portion of a rhinoplasty used permanent sutures, that is not dissolving. While the stitches usually stay in place at times they may migrate to the surface and as surgeons call it may “spit out“. by the time that happens the structures that were held together by the stitch have long since healed together and no longer need the stitch. So I don’t think you should be concerned about the stitch coming out in terms of the structure or support of the nose. The only issue might be if it leaves a small “pockmark“ scar behind, which it probably will not . But notify you a surgeon and ask him to check it out.
