I fell asleep sitting up about 3 hours post-Botox, and covered the lower half of my body with a heated blanket. It was on low heat only. I had Botox at about 930pm that night. And I woke up at 430am (7 hours later) with night sweat. Will this all affect Botox? My doctor says it won't affect it. But I would like a 2nd opinion if possible. Thanks!

I have been injecting Botox for over 20 years and have never heard of any side effect like this. I would definitely consult your eye doctor since this does not sound like it has anything to do with Botox. Best, Dr. Green
Botox injections do not directly cause weight gain. If you have gained a significant amount of weight and have not changed your diet or exercise I would advise you to consult your internist to evaluate if there is a hormonal cause. Best, Dr. Green
