Will night sweat post Botox affect it? (Photo)

Question

I fell asleep sitting up about 3 hours post-Botox, and covered the lower half of my body with a heated blanket. It was on low heat only. I had Botox at about 930pm that night. And I woke up at 430am (7 hours later) with night sweat. Will this all affect Botox? My doctor says it won't affect it. But I would like a 2nd opinion if possible. Thanks!

The botox will not be affected by facial sweating or heating after the procedure.  I suggest you trust your physician. Best, Dr. Emer.

If you don't trust your doctor with his opinion about the sweating, how do you trust him or her with the actual injection? treatment was done at 9:30pm?? The only way to know if there is any effect is if you develop any problems or complications associated with the Botox, but unlikely that you will.

Hello Weiwei88,I would not be worried about sweating like that several hours after the injection.  Vigorous activity and massaging the area may move the Botox but simply sweating should not.  I hope this helps and good luck.

This situation will not harm your Botox at all. You have nothing to worry about. Botox is placed in the muscle and once it is injected, it is hard to mess it up. I hope this helps.
