Thinking of getting a Morpheus8. How bad will I look the next day? What are the after medications? How long predates and post do I have to stay out of the sun?
Answer: Morpheus8 Recovery Hi classylassy626, One of the best features of Morpheus8 is that it has virtually NO downtime. From all the patients I have treated, they almost immediately go back to work the very next day. Immediately after you will have redness and swelling but nothing compared to, for example a chemical peel. Some people may experience bruising or pin point scabbing and will have full recovery within 2-3 days. Hope this helped! -Dr. Eisenbrown

Answer: Morpheus The great thing about Morpheus is the very minimal downtime. At Monroe Comprehensive Laser Center in Monroe, Mi, we have seen some redness and pinpoint red dots immediately after treatment as well as some mild swelling that usually disappears withing hours. We advise patients to rinse their treated area with water only for 24 to 36 hours and wait on makeup until 36 hours after. we also advise pts to be careful when they bath or shower that they do not expose the treated area to harsh cleansers or body wash etc to decrease unwanted inflammation. As far as after sun exposure, we recommend no deliberate tanning for 2 weeks after and to wear sunscreen of at least 30spf for those weeks. We also recommend to use aquaphor for skin protection and moisturizing for at least the first 36 hours.
