I lost a fair amount of weight and I’m curious if a surgeon would be willing to add implants without a breast lift to add fullness back to my breasts. I don’t care if they sag, but I do want them to look natural and full again. I’m entirely opposed to a lift, I don’t want any obvious scarring on my breasts. Would it be possible for someone who has breasts like mine to get an augmentation without a lift?

Answer: Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Lift needed Dear Jspam, An in-person exam would be more accurate, but from the pictures provided, I would suggest you consider some breast lift with the implants. Without lifting your breast to some degree, your breast tissue would hang off of the implant that would be up, partially under the pec muscle. That is not a pleasing look and patients that think they would be ok with it, aren't ok with it when it's all said and done. So the trade-off for an aesthetically pleasing breast is a scar. Best Wishes.
