Hello, I was interested in a breast augmentation but I was wondering since I have a gap between my breast would I be able to close the gap up some and would they look natural, I’m 5’7 weigh 167 black female

Dear Carnesha91, thanks for sharing your picture and concern, after evaluate your case I can rather say your best option will be breast augmentation and lift with silicone gel implants, as more volume less gap. Thanks for your question! I do think you would be great candidate for a breast augmentation with a moderate profile. That width will get you cleavage and upper pole fullness but still have them looking natural. Best of luck!

Your breasts are asymmetrical in volume, shape and position. The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage.

Hello and thank you for your question. A surgeon should measure your breasts either manually or with Vectra 3D to determine an implant that can provide the cleavage that you desire. A wider implant will maximize your cleavage, and the larger the implant, the wider it will be. A consultation with using sizers and a simulation will give you the best idea of what you will look like after surgery.

breast augmentation can improve the gap between your breasts. Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Breast augmentation with implants is goood choice for you. However, you need to be aware of a small asymmetry is size and areolas and discuss that issue with your surgeon. In the case that implants do not provide satisfactory result in cleavege, fat grafting in that area may improve overall result.
