Is the goal of Dysport to completely paralyze treated muscles or just soften muscle movement?

Neuromodulator treatment (Botox, Dysport etc.) is individualized based on patient specific anatomy while taking into consideration personal preference when it comes to maintaining some flexibility vs having no residual movement in the targeted treatment area. Your injector can assess your muscle strength and administer an appropriate dose according to your goals. I began injecting Botox for cosmetic reasons back in 1991. At that time of its infancy, the goal of treatment was to freeze the muscles. But it soon became apparent that creating porcelainized faces, like those of Kabuki dancers was unnatural and undesirable. From that point on and for the past more than a quarter of century, the goal of treatment with any of the neurotoxins, whether Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Juveau, etc., is to simply soften the muscular movement so that exaggerated muscular overactivity no longer contributes to the etching and creasing of the overlying fabric of the skin. In the glabella area 60 units ( procerus 18, depressors 14/14 and corrugators 6/6 should render the area frozen. You could not pull down on the brows
If you use less say procerus 10 depressors 10/10 and corrugators 6/6 you will most likely have some movement,
