3 months since 30 units of Dysport for pebble chin & still not about to smile, how long will this take?

Hi, i hope everyone’s having a great day. My question is i got 15 units of dysport on my pebble chin. My doctor said i should come back 2 weeks later for a another check. Then she add 15 units of dysport again. It’s been 3 months and i am still not able to smile. How long this might take to recover fully? (My bottom lip goes into my mouth whenever i laugh and it made my live miserable

Everyone is a little different, but the effects of dysport can last from 3 months to sometimes even 6 months. This is always a risk with dysport or botox around the mouth, which is why I'm very selective and conservative with neurotoxin treatments in this area.

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you have been having since your Dysport treatment.  The effects from the product are temporary.  Most patients notice it wears off gradually over three to four months, although some patients report it can take up to six.  I hope you will find improvement over the coming weeks.
