I believe you are! I’m sure your surgeon will agree. You look great and you will look even better with the alar base reduction. Just understand if he doesn’t want to be overly aggressive because sometimes reducing the alar base too much can produce unaesthetic results.

The scar appears a bit too hypertrophic for silicone sheets to have a discernible effect at this point. Initial treatment should involve a kenalog/5-fluorouracil injection from your surgeon to help modulate the scar maturation. After an injection you should notice some flattening of the scar.
