Is alarplasty enough to fix the slanted nose & make it more symmetrical to my face? (Photo)

Alarplasty will help with narrowing the nostrils and reducing the size of the bottom of the nose. However, you need tip plasty to reduce the bulbous tip as well. As the tip drops down with age you need a cartilage graft to lift up the tip at the same time.

An Alar plasty is not going to fix a slanted nose. An alar plasty simply narrows the nostrils by removal of a wedge of skin at the base of the nostrils themselves. The procedure can done in conjunction with a rhinoplasty, or as a standalone procedure if you're just trying to narrow the nostrils themselves. As a standalone procedure, it can be done under local anesthesia, which takes about 30 minutes.
