Are the white spots on my lips side effect from lip filler?

Ive been getting lip filler for a couple of years. Recently after buying an enhancement mirror I noticed tons of little white spots all within the inside of my lips-they look like white polka dots. Assume this is from the filler, is this normal? They are not raised, or irritated, still see them if I stretch the lip

Modern lip fillers are clear, so Restylane, Juvederm or Perlane can cause lumps, but will not cause white spots. There are, however, normal white glands within the lip and vermillion. They are often seen as small white dots along the edge of the lips and are more concentrated near the corners of the mouth.On the other hand, the original lip plumper, Collagen is bright white, and can cause white lines from injecting too close to the surface. These do fade in a few months. Radiesse, which is not recommended for lips, can leave white lumps or lines in the pattern of injection, which is not usually a polka-dot pattern.If you are concerned about the appearance, be certain to get checked out by your doctor.

question. What you are describing is normal and unrelated to your lip filler.
These are called Fordyce spots, which is normal sebaceous glands of the lips.
They are visible because the skin of the lips is thin. You have probably had
them for years, but noticing them now because you have had filler. I hope this

Little whitish bumps on the pink part of the lips can be Fordyce spots, which are relatively common and completely unrelated to fillers. Instead, they are oil gland growths. Unless radiesse was placed in your lips, which is unlikely, filler does not cause uniform little, white bumps. Treatment of Fordyce spots is difficult, but usually involves laser.
