Where will I have incisions with S-Lift? Is it cheaper than regular rhytidectomy (face & neck deep plane)?
Answer: It is better to just spend $12,000 and get the real deal. These silly little lifts that don't do anything are a waste of money. It is better to get a real advanced face/neck lift for only $12-15,000 and be super happy. It is done under local so it is safer and results are amazing and long lasting.(not just 6 months like the stupid mini lift)

Answer: Mini Facelift & Mini neck lift -- FaceTite RF for internal skin tightening + Neck Liposuction for definition/contouring FaceTite can internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls with only a weekend of downtime. Keep in mind that combination approaches will give you a more significant improvement as opposed to a single procedure. I recommend getting a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Mini-lift vs. Face lift: what's in a name? Thank you for the question. Terminology in aging face surgery is often confusing or misleading. The difference between what is considered a mini-lift or S-lift and a "real" facelift varies significantly between surgeons. The most common distinction has to do with whether or not the neck is treated; meaning, in a mini-lift, no work would be done on the platysma muscles and the incisions would be made shorter behind the ears. This is basically the way that I define it for my patients. The choice should be made, however, based on your anatomy; choosing a procedure that won't work for your situation in order to save a little money is unlikely to produce a result that you're excited about. Best of luck and take care!

Answer: Mini lifts there are so many abbreviated forms of facelifts that I can’t even count them all. In my opinion there is no short cut to a good result. Having a standard facelift doesn’t take much more time or money and it will give you much better improvement. I have seen many mini lifts, especially the S lift be very disappointing because there was only a little improvement. Get it done right the first time otherwise you’re a set up for disappointment and redoing it in in just s few years. And paying twice.i

Answer: Mini Facelift Surgical Techniques KittyKat2018I can appreciate your concern and confusion with this regard. Most mini facelift techniques and incisions are similar, however they have different names, sometimes meant to try to stand out from other procedures. My favorite technique is the MACS short scar Mini-Facelift. Developed in Europe, it is the ideal approach for the younger patient, not ready for a full facelift, or patients who desire a less invasive procedure with a shorter recovery time. It addresses both the mid face area (especially the jowls) as well as the neck, if needed. It usually costs a bit less than a full facelift because it is a shorter procedure, requiring less time for anesthesia and operating room. Check out the link below to an article I wrote about this technique. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to explore the best options for you. Good luck.
