How long is complete healing time from a deep CO2 laser?

I am considering getting a deep one-time CO2 laser treatment on my face/neck/chest & see that there is 2-3 weeks of downtime. After the downtime, does any pinkness/redness continue & if so, how long would it be before I would see the final results of a fully-resurfaced complexion?

this type of procedure requires a lot of downtime and topical skin care and sun protection.  my office is very explicit with the protocols, we have a binder of information sent to each patients and instructions for everyday over 2 weeks for healing.  I suggest you speak directly to your office about their protocols.  After a few weeks, makeup and skin care can be resumed.
