Hi Am doing fractional co2 laser before 22 days 3 weeks ago . My skin doesn't peel no thing peeling and it is until now redness and brown colore Is it normal ? I don't know what i do? I stay at home 22 days and all time put Moisturizer like mebo cream or bepanthen plus and alfacort crem and i didn't go out if it sunny Please till me what i doing ? How can i fix it ? I feel i will die

You do have an extended period of healing. I would transition to Melarase creams twice daily followed by pulsed dye laser once the skin has healed. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

Thank you for your question and picture.It is hard to see very well what is going on with your skin.  It looks like you have not peeled yet from the laser treatment. Typically the skin peels at day 5-7.I would contact your surgeon for a good exam and make sure that you do not have a superimposed infection and there are no other medication that can help you.Best RegardsNagi T Ayoub MD, FACS

I suggest seeing your Specialist who performed this laser. Given the darker skin type, PIH or skin darkening is not infrequent. Using methods such as bleaching creams- Vitamin A before and after the procedure can help reduce side effects. You really need to see the treating surgeon who performed this procedure, as they will have their own method of speeding up your recovery.
