My facial skin initially healed very well, except the skin above and below my eyes. Monthly treatments with another laser are helping. Also, at about the 3-month mark, my skin became reactive. Hyperplasia on forehead, capillaries appearing, acne, and milia both above and below eyes. Neither plastic surgeon nor my dermatologist had any real answers or solutions, and my skin still doesn't look as good as it initially did. Any insights, thoughts, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Answer: Pulsed dye laser and Elevase after fractional co2 laser
I use both of these treatments for fractional repair of the skin. However, I would consider the pair on two consecutive treatment days in order to maximize repair and results. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
I have not seen this frequently with our DEKA laser and it may be unexplained. Perhaps you may consider laser hair removal at this point to rid you of those hairs.Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
I suggest seeing your cosmetic dermatologist, there are many things that can be done to promote "healing," but an in person assessment is needed. Best, Dr. Emer.
