Is it possible to combine Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing and Fractional RF microneedling in one session?

Fractional RF needling in many ways mimicks C02 resurfacing.   The concept of creating small wounds in the skin or below the epidermis so that collagen can be stimulated is  typical of any skin rejuvenation procedure.  If the idea is to  go deeper with RF needling, and then more superficially with C02 resurfacing, it may be reasonable.  Remember however, that the skin has limits as to how much energy can be transferred into it before it responds negatively. 

These are great modalities to help restore smoother skin and correct skin damage. They are somewhat similar and could work in concert with each other. Keep in mind, though, that both treatments are injuring the skin in a controlled fashion and you could do more damage than repair by combining them. If done very carefully and one is deeper and the other superficial, perhaps. It would be likely in your best interest to separate them however.
