Home IPL Treatments used to hair removal are not as effective as professional lasersmeant to permanently affect hair regrowth. Optimal laser treatments are spaced on specific intervals depending on the area of the body treated. In this case, treating again will not offer any better outcome
In general, home devices that are used to reduce hair are not as effective as professional lasers meant to permanently affect hair regrowth. The sessions are scheduled at designated time intervals in order to treat hair in its actively growing phase. So to answer the question--- NO! More frequent sessions more often in this case, would not speed up the process . A consultation in a practice with Board Certified physicians is advisable.
The hair needs to be present for hair removal to work. That means that it is best to wait for the hair cycle to renew. Each hair area takes different time and I suggest that you cotact your doctor for bet schedule.
Each hair removal treatment only affects the hairs which are actively growing. Then you need to wait for several weeks for the hair which was in a dormant phase of the growth cycle to move into the actively growing phase. So doing more frequent treatments will not speed up the hair removal process.
Themain thing to consider before you start your treatments is to have a consultwith a reputable dermatologist/facial/plastic surgeon. My practice has beenconsidered by Lumenis lasers to be a Lumenis laser center of excellence and Ihave been a "Luminary" (Lumenis physician teacher) for the last 10years. Not many physicians have these recognitions. I also help develop andteach my own Rosacea and Melasma protocols for the Lumenis IPL systems to otherphysicians and technicians.Hair removal by IPL or any other laser is generally performed at 6 weeks intervals because that is the hair growth cycle. There will be no benefit of another treatment sooner that 6 weeks in theory. Home IPL treatments are low energy and therefore they produce very little if no improvement. I recommend seeking the advice and treatment of a professional hair removal clinic.Hope this helps,Dr. Gus Diaz
Laser Hair Removal should be spaced based on the intervals for hair growth. You would not receive additional benefit to treat the same area that soon.
IPL can reduce hair density and growth, but hair must be present in the first place for the effect to be appreciated. This is a perfect example "more is not always better". Laser treatments should be spaced weeks apart to realize optimal benefits from the treatment.

Thank you for your question. There should not be a concern with treating two days prior than your recommended appointment day. To be sure, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to...
Thanks for the IPL settings. It would be more helpful if you had before pictures of the "thinned" hair areas. In general, IPL can affect the hair in a treated area. Light energy can "bleed" into the non-primary treatment zone. But the wavelengths you mentioned are not used for hair...
