I've had 5 Vasculite treatments for rosacea & my eyebrows look thinner than I’ve ever seen them. I looked at pics of myself from prior to the treatments + put 2+2 together. Specs for all 5 sessions are as follows: Vasculite 560nm; fluence: 34 J/cm2; pulse width 3ms x2; pulse mode: double; pass thru: 1 on all areas except for cheeks, nose & chin on treatments 1-4, which had 2 pass throughs; 2 all areas treatment 5. Before + after pics below. Thanks for any help/guidance--it's been devastating.

Answer: Eyebrows thinned dramatically during IPL treatments
Benzoyl peroxide, depending on the strength, can dry up the skin. I would wait till the IPL treatment redness subsides before using BP.Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
The flushing/blushing on your face might be an indicator that you are suffering from Rosacea. Without pictures is difficult to make that assessment. Consider a consultation with your dermatologist/facial/plastic surgeon. A series of treatments with the Lumenis IPL has been effective in my hands...
You can get some swelling after an IPL but it should go down within 3-5 days. I would apply a cold compress 2-3 a day. If it does not go away after 3-5 days I would notify the facility where you had the treatment or your MD.
