I had a PDO thread treatment done 15 days ago (three threads on each side). About 10 days after it this dimple appeared on one my cheeks. The practioner instructed me to massage it and said that it will go away but I’m seeing no improvement. Any thoughts?
Answer: Threads Generally, dimples should resolve within about 3 weeks. If they don't the practitioner should be able to undermine the dimple with a cannula to release the thread from under the skin. If this is not successful, placing filler in the dimple should solve the problem.

Answer: Dimpling with PDO thread Thank you for your question. While it may seem a prolonged time, some instances these may take up to a month to return to predimpling phase. If it doesn't, then follow up with the physician who inserted them.
