Numbing creams do not work on thick scalp skin. You should ask your doctor about anesthesia as each doctor may have their own recommendations.

It is best to ask your doctor who will be performing your SMP, PRP, etc about your concerns. Each doctor will have their own opinion which may differ slightly and it will likely leave you more confused.Many doctors think PRP does not work.

Scalp MicroPigmentation or SMP is basically a tattoo.  Laser tattoo removal does not usually cause hyperpigmentation.It is best to see your doctor or a dermatologist for an examination.
