Can I get just a butt & thigh lift only w/o going into my TT scar?

I had an TT 8 yr's ago it's perfect. I am a 51 yr old female. I am 5''0 & 106 lbs. I am looking to get a Butt lift & Outer Thigh lift only. My prior Abdominoplasty is perfect but I was told by a surgeon that he would need to redo my TT and get a circumferential body lift for best results. I don't want to redo what I have already done which still looks perfect. Can I still get great results?

Definitely it is possible to do the lateral and posterior body lift without the TT component (no skin undermining, no muscle repair, not touching belly button) but probably the degree of saggy skin on your lateral abdomen needs to extend  towards the front abdomen, and/or maybe you need mons pubic lift. In these cases I recommend to do circumferential without the TT component but only the skin resection circumferentially. 
If your mons pubic area is nice and tight and the excess of skin laterally is not that bad either, then only a little extension towards the front abdomen to avoid dog ears would be needed. 
This will always be the matter of communication, talk to your doctor.

Without seeing your pictures, it's a bit challenging to give a precise recommendation. However, if your tummy tuck results are still holding up well, there may not be a need to disturb that area. A posterior lift, focusing solely on the buttocks and outer thighs, can be a viable option for addressing concerns in these specific areas.

It's important to have a detailed consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can assess your individual case. They can provide a more tailored recommendation based on your current anatomy and the quality of your existing tummy tuck. The goal would be to enhance your buttocks and outer thighs while maintaining the integrity of your previous abdominoplasty results.

I've performed many posterior body lifts while leaving prior tummy tucks alone. I believe this can be done for you.

First of all without pictures we can’t begin to make an assessment so we can’t really give you any quality answers without quality pictures.

When showing pictures always include proper before and after pictures including previous procedures especially regarding bodywork.

If you’re happy with your tummy tuck then there’s no need to redo any aspect of the front but if someone is going to connect the dots and do it the same type of lift but on the backside to tighten your waist and hold up your buttocks the scars need to connect to your tummy tuck scar. That would not necessarily change the tummy tuck result at all. Hopefully the goal is to make you look better.

With such limited information we can’t really answer any of your questions so I will simply tell you the most important and valuable as finding the most talented and experienced surgeon.

Find the right plastic surgeon, followed your advice and everything falls into place.

The two variables determine quality Plastic surgery results are the candidacy of the patient for each procedure and the skill of the surgeon doing the procedure.

Hi and welcome to our forum!The incision for an outer thigh lift is placed at the hip as a continuation of the tummy tuck incision laterally. If laxity has developed at the previous tummy tuck site, further tightening of the abdomen can be accomplished at the same sitting. If already satisfied with the tummy tuck, only the lateral aspects of the incision would be disturbed with lateral thigh lift. Without photos, I cannot determine if the result will be great...Best wishes...

I n order to properly be able to advise you, it would be important to have an in-office cionsultation  with a Board Certified Plasti Surgeon. But, if you are happy with your TT result is is probably unnecessary to opent the TT incision.
