It has been 3 months since my butt implants. My butt looks worse. The LITTLE implants are visible at the top, my butt is square, oddly shaped and flat. The PS keeps telling me the implants will drop. Do you think the implants will drop enough to fill out my butt? I feel them in my lower back when l sit down. The left one feels like it wants to flip.
Answer: Buttock augmentation In my professional opinion I think that your implants are too small and also perhaps the wrong shape as well. Your torso is long so I would most likely suggest a longer implant instead of the round. Your body will require a much larger implant in order to fil up the area. Get a second opinion from a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in buttock implants. You will most likely need to have an implant exchange to a larger size.

Answer: Butt implants? It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal butt image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your buttock will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. Liposuction of your lower back and fat transfer is also helpful as an adjunct to implants. Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon.

Answer: Do butt implants drop? Indeed just like breast implants, buttock implants are typically high and smashed flat at first. As the swelling resides and the muscle relaxes, the implant descends into position and the buttock become much more naturally rounded and perky. Although looking good months sooner, this process usually takes 6 - 7 months until complete. So, if you still have concerns after 2-3 more months then a physical exam and reconsideration of implant size, shape, and/or positioning may be necessary. Based upon your photos, a large 600cc Stanton Anatomic oval implant would be best. Glad to help.

Answer: Buttock Implants Depending where the implants are put, they may drop in time specially if put in subcutaneous position. If they were put under the muscle the chances are much less that the implant will drop if put right. You may need revision surgery.

Answer: Not happy with implants It is very important to perform sculpting in addition to placement of a buttocks implant; your lower and middle back need to be liposuctioned to provide a waist that will then contrast with your buttocks; your implant should be much larger to provide you more fullness; finally, I would tuck your lower buttocks skin redundancy into your infragluteal crease. Please see link below for more information.
