I had smartlipo done on my abdomen and love handles a week ago. By day 3 my compression garment is causing me intense itchiness.. I have eczema. It's not just itchiness but rashes are developing along the outline of the garment as well.

Compression is a vital component of aftercare for a liposuction treatment, but this certainly doesn’t mean you should continue to wear the garment you currently have if it is causing so much discomfort. Answer: Skin rash from lipo garment? Contact your surgeon. Some fabrics suit sensitive skin better than others. Compression is great to reduce swelling, but not at all costs. There are many fabrics available.
