I'm 5'5", 150 lbs. , 35 years old. I want it big, to accommodate my weight.
Answer: Want to go from 600cc round silicone high profile, to 800cc. Will it make significant difference? (photos) Breast implants are measured in cubic centimeters (ccs). One hundred seventy five to 200 ccs is the equivalent to a one-cup size increase. Each bra company calculates bra sizes differently, so using cup size alone as a parameter can lead to miscommunication between surgeon and patient. My patients try on a profile bra with various implant sizes under a tailored blouse, tight sweater, swimsuit, workout clothes, and other garments they typically wear so that they have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. Go with the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy. Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Los Angeles, CA

Answer: Implant size Dear LolaBell13, 800 cc implants are very big and might cause skin sagging. Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Size Only a slight difference. It may not be worth it. The implant selection should be based on a combination of your desired size, soft tissue dynamics, breast base diameter and skin elasticity. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). Answer: Going Bigger Good morning! It would be most helpful to see two things- a topless photo as well as a goal/wish pic. Then I could tell you for sure if an additional 200cc is going to do the trick. In many cases it will, and in others it will not, and require overfilled saline to go above 800cc.

Answer: When wanting to upsize let your chosen surgeon show you what the differences will appear like and what options you have for what will fit on your chest. I try to avoid UHP implants but have no issues with HP implants. Increases in volume do not make 'huge' changes in size due to implants being more spherical... but you will be a little fuller with a 200 cc increase in size.
