My doctor said he can graft up to 800cc fat (I'm 108 pounds 5'2") for BLL, would be 400cc for each butt cheek and 200cc of each would survive. Can you see enough enhancement for 200cc increase in each butt cheek and is it really worth going thru doing a full body lipo for it? Because I heard butt implants has a high risk for complications and I DO sit all day in the office.
Answer: What would a 200cc BBL look like? You may notice the enhancement you are seeking with 200cc fat survival in each buttock if the liposuction creates more contours to give the illusion that your buttocks are larger. You and your PS will have to determine whether the fat harvest and transfer will provide a significant improvement. Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Answer: BBL candidate Dear bebemodo,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. 400cc per butt cheek probably won't provide a significant increase in size. Fat viability depends a lot of surgeon technique. The fat has to be placed back into the buttocks as soon as possible so that it has a greater chance of survival. It has to be placed carefully so that not too much fat is placed in only one area. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Been 108 Been 108 pounds, We think is not enough for a bbl. Try to gain 10 to 15 pounds and then do the bbl. Or could think having a gluteal implant with your actual weight.regards

Answer: Fat for BBL Thanks for the great question! Because I'm also in San Francisco, I see patents like yourself every day! There are two main components to a BBL, the liposuction and the actual fat transfer. Depending on your current anatomy, just having the liposuction can make a big difference in the appearance of the butt. When it comes to volume, a can of code is 355cc. So if you can picture what a can of soda would be like in each side, that's about the change you can expect. I agree that implants tend to have a lot of complications and may not look as natural. I've had very good success with performing fat transfer to patients who are on the leaner side. I hope this helps!Best,~Dr. Sieber

Answer: What would a 200 cc BBL look like? You are correct, that in the long run, buttock implants can carry a higher rate of risk/complication than BBL surgery. Although a 400 cc per buttock BBL is a relatively small amount of fat to transfer, given that you are petite at 5'2" and 108 lbs., this may still result in a very nice improvement. Ask your surgeon if they have any before and after photos of patients similar to yourself. this should help you determine if the procedure will meet your expectations. Best wishes, Dr. Lepore.
