Common reasons for lower blepharoplasty include tear trough deformity or pseudoherniation of the orbital fat. An in-person exam would provide a more accurate diagnosis, but preliminarily based on your photos it does appear you have pseudoherniation of fat creating "eye bags.” They should also be more prominent when you look up. You need volume to the area. Either fat grafting or filler can achieve an improved appearance. Fat grafting is theoretically permanent, but fat in the area continues to be lost and not even this is permanent. I have essentially switched to the newer heavy filler Juvederm Voluma which, though it is approved for lasting 2 years, I have found it can last over 5 years. Unfortunately, most injectors do not use this or similar fillers and, therefore do not get optimal results. Make sure you see an expert.
