Misplaced butt implants or too small at 1 year post-op?

Hello I’m 36 year old female. I’m 5’7” and weight 138 pounds. I went through tummy tuck, Lopo & butt augmentation 350cc procedure a year ago. I’ve noticed that whenever I make certain movements (squats, bending or leg movements). I’m able to see the implant and it seems it’s far more up and sitting on the top side of my bum . I feel it should be more lower towards the but cheek? I also notice from a side angle my lower part looks saggy and flat not as round as I wanted. Should I go bigger or FG.

Allow me to answer your question as best i can based upon your photos. However, please keep in mind that an in-person, or at least a virtual, consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made.

You appear to be exhibiting several problems. Number one, the implant does seem to be malpositioned high and out of the buttock zone. This is more than likely because the implant is not situated completely within the gluteus muscles. Secondly, it appears as though the implant is not the optimal shape or size thus giving you the gum-drop effect from the profile view, with flattening in the lower half of the buttock. Your implant is likely round but would be better suited with a Stanton Anatomic oval shaped implant that extends the entire length of the gluteus muscles.  Typically all this has to be corrected with surgery to remove the current implants, create a brand new pocket 100% within the gluteus muscles (aka “intramuscular”, not “subfascial”and not “biplanar”), and then place a properly sized and shaped implant. 
Please note that an extremely few number of board certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock implants, so you may need to travel far and away from home to find this particular surgeon.  Glad to help.

Gluteal implants need to be placed intramuscularly. If placed on top of the muscle they are prone to move from pressure and sitting on the implant.

The majority of plastic surgeons in the United States do not perform gluteal augmentation‘s
For this procedure it’s worth finding someone who specializes in gluteal augmentation and uses intramuscular placement.

What you describe is one of the many drawbacks and side effects of having gluteal implants.  there’s a reason most plastic surgeons don’t do this procedure.
