I honestly hate my supercharged bbl . I feel Like my butt looks so ill-shaped and fake . I also have no hips from the front. I'm Not sure if I should remove my implants but I want my body/butt to look more natural and curvy. How do I go about fixing this ? I really want my butt to match my thighs and I want bigger hips. I also hate that gap between my butt cheeks , where the implants were inserted . Any advice?
Answer: Unhappy with “supercharged BBL” Allow me to answer your question as best i can based upon your photos. However, please keep in mind that an in-person, or at least a virtual, consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made. In general, it is possible but not practical to perform fat transfer with buttock implants. In this case the fat melts away even more extensively then it does when doing BBL alone. Therefore you are essentially paying for nothing. Many surgeons are marketing fat grafting with buttock implants because they are simply not placing the implants in the proper intramuscular position, thus, they are trying to camouflage the edges of the implant with fat. However this does not work because when the fat melts away you can still see the improperly positioned implant. So, like breast implant, it is best just to have the implant placed and in the right position from the beginning. Think of how many plastic surgeons you see promoting fat grafting at the same time as breast implants…none, so why would you do it for buttock implants.? Like breast implants, you may have to come back a second time for a larger implant if you want an implant that is proportionally too large for your body and just will not fit the first time around. Glad to be of help.

Answer: Butt augmentation Dear loveworth99, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Buttock Implants depending on how much fat you have left a fat transfer to the hips might be a good solution. Buttock implant removal will make your buttock softer and more natural but smaller. It really depends on what your goals are. Be sure to choose a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure and is well known for their work in the field.

Answer: Gluteal concerns You’ve had multiple procedures. At this point if you want us to make an assessment we really need to see before and after pictures for each procedure you’ve had. The majority of plastic surgeons in the United States do not offer a gluteal implants. There’s a reason for this. Gluteal implants have a long list of undesirable outcomes. Implant size is critical to long-term success. They also need to be placed intramuscularly to minimize postop problems. It’s a difficult complex procedure that results in failure more than many other cosmetic surgical procedures. I suggest you follow up with your provider. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
