Question

Can you dense pack transplanted hair follicles in between existing hairs that have gotten thin even when the existing hairs are already dense. In other words, I don't need to lower my hairline, I just need to thicken/reinforce my existing hairline because the hairs have gotten very fine. However, there seems to be very little space in between the fine hairs to fit the transplanted hairs without transecting the existing ones.

Definitely yes. Any experienced hair transplant surgeon should be able to implant grafts in between existing hairs without causing any damage.

This certainly can be and it’s best done with the area trimmed and best done by an experienced team. This is challenging for the novice surgeon but routine for the expert. You can expect a nice result in the right hands.

The risk is high even doing it with high magnification, you could try a treatment first to make the hair thicker wait a few months for results and depending on that you could try just a small area to transplant to match the rest of the head, I have done it before and with very thin preexisting hairs
