Any tips for getting out of bed after breast augmentation? That seems to be the most painful after today?

I would recommend that you sleep close to one edge of the bed and prop yourself up with pillow so that you can more easily swing your feet around at the edge of bed.  This minimizes your need to use your arms to help you get upright.

Your pain should be much better by day 5.  In the mean time try sleeping in a recliner to make getting up easier. 

Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. What you are describing is quite commonly experienced;  early in the morning, your blood level of pain medication and muscle relaxants are quite low. It may be a good idea to have some light food available at your bedside;  have this light breakfast  followed by medications such as pain medication and muscle relaxants prior to getting out of bed. You will find that your discomfort will improve on a daily basis; most patients report that they are “over the hump” somewhere between day 2 and day 4 after breast augmentation surgery.
