4 years ago I had a breast lift and I had implants placed. I had lost 50lbs prior to surgery so I had loose skin/tissue/ boobs. My doctor filled my breast tissue with “the biggest implant” they had. Fast forward 4 years. My boobs are extremely large maybe F size and sit very low! Is it possible to get a reduction, remove all my excess skin and place small perky implants that sit higher than the massive ones I have now?

Answer: Implants too large and too low Hi! In short, yes it is possible to do all of that, it is not a simple procedure, and you may need more than one go to get everything you want. The pockets and the capsule that you have for your old implants needs to be addressed, as well as the excess skin, and the breast tissue. Best to contact your local surgeon and go through the issues. All the best!

Answer: Explant and The Bellesoma Lift Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs. The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Implants are not lifetime devices. 8% fail within the first year and 30% fail within six years. Fat transfers are permanent and incorporated into the body.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
