My surgeon recommended it for by implants that bottomed out. It seems to be a newer product and I can't find much info on it. Thanks for your help! 8/2018 - Replaced implants, lift 10/2018 - 'Saggy Sally' came to town and my boobies went South (thin skin, lame tissue) 9/2019 - Scheduled for another lift and OviTex mesh (Tela Bio)
Answer: Synthetic Resorbable Mesh Gold Standard For Implant Dropout Hello,Anything that requires a drain (ADMs) are unnecessary for implant support, and the leader in bioresorbable mesh is Galaflex. Unlike ADMs that can become free floating (not incorporating into existing capsule), mesh becomes adherent to capsule without a drain (always avoid drains when implants are near), and disappears in time, when it is no longer needed.

Answer: Explant and The Bellesoma Lift The technique I recommend for bottoming out is explantation and a lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery. At the same time or later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Implants are not lifetime devices. Fat transfers are permanent and incorporated into the body.

Answer: Bottoming out Dear jm1465, Bottoming out occurs when the implant falls below the current breast crease or inframammary line. It's more likely to happen with inframammary incisions, which is why I try not to use the inframammary approach to any breast surgery. Bottoming out can also occur if an implant is too large for the breast pocket. That is why it is important to choose an implant size that's correct for your body. I perform numerous measurements in the office to determine optimal implant size for my patient's bodies. In case of revision, some plastic surgeons use acellular matrix to improve the strength of tissues and prevent future bottoming out. If you are concerned, please check it with your plastic surgeon for reassurance and to further discuss your options and possibility of revision. Answer: Mesh/ADM used for breast implant bottoming out. I am sorry to hear about the problems you are experiencing after breast surgery. Although I do not have any specific experience with the product you mentioned, I do find the use of acellular dermal matrix very helpful (in many cases) when it comes to providing additional support for breast implants that have bottomed out. Ultimately much more important than the type of product utilized, will be plastic surgeon experience, when it comes to success with this type of revisionary breast surgery. In other words, experience level and technical expertise play the biggest role when it comes to successful outcomes with this type of revisionary breast surgery. Careful attention to postoperative activity limitations as well as use of appropriate postoperative support of dressing/garments are also important. I hope this helps.
