I had a revision 700 to 580. The dr did a benelli /donut lift as well. Which is fine as I trust him. I just wasn't expecting it so I'm not sure how to take care of them. The info I have is for a augmentation. I had my 1 day post op, and go back in a week. I need extra advice. When will my breast start to look normal? When can you take a "full" shower? When do I start scar treatment? I've heard of Silicone sheets? When do I start massage? Anything else I should know to help the healing process?
Answer: Donut mastopexy After any breast procedure, it takes several months for the breasts to settle. You have to be patient. I usually advise my patients to take a shower a day after the surgery. Soap and water will not hurt the incisions. I do not recommend massage. To help the scars, Silagen is a great product and you can begin to place it on the scars when everything has healed properly about a month. It is a great product and you only need a little drop smeared across the scar twice a day.

Answer: Beneli (Donut) Mastopexy You will likely never have normal scarring the beneli lift; this is because all of the tension is placed on your nipple and areola complex; you will start seeing a starburst looking scarring that will typically not improve with time. This is why I recommend a vertical mastopexy incision which transfers the tension away from the nipple and to the vertical pillar incision.
